Siobhan_de_la Perrelle

Siobhan de la Perrelle was born in Sussex, England where she stayed until she moved to Norwich to study for her degree in economics and philosophy.

After graduating, she enjoyed a rich and fulfilling career in technology, starting as a technical specialist and progressing to be a global leader with responsibility for people all over the world.

She is happily married and settled in Sussex having enjoyed living in London, Manchester, Norwich, Paris and Amsterdam.

She is now fulfilling a lifelong dream by turning her hand to writing literature.

Amongst her varied interests are a passion for travel, nature and the arts.  She also loves skiing and will continue to go until her knees put their foot down!

Her travels have taken her to far flung places, from Australia, India, South America, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia to America and Europe.

Some of her favourite books include The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger,  Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, Winnie-the-Pooh created by A. A. Milne, Brighton Rock by Graham Greene, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and of course, Where to Ski!

Amongst the many artists she enjoys her favourite has to be Picasso, closely followed by Van Gogh and the architecture of Gaudi.

Films she has enjoyed over the years include Star Wars, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Casino Royale, Toy Story, The Station Agent,  Stuck on You, As Good as It Gets, Elf, Inception, Fargo, The Usual Suspects and Millions.

I think it is safe to say that her tastes are varied and very eclectic!
